CHIJ Alumni CNY Lunch with Old Folks and Nuns of IJ Home

Over the weekend, a few performers, students and I headed down to Roland Restaurant for a Chinese New Year Lunch organised by the CHIJ Alumni for the Old Folks and Nuns of the IJ Home.

I used to help out at the old Little Sisters of the Poor and so I was really excited about helping out at this event!

We prepared a short performance down memory lane for them. With our performers, Melissa, Kimberly, Clement and Samuel performing classic oldies such as The Way You Look Tonight, The Moon Represents my Heart, Abba and  一人一半 (Yi Ren Yi Ban) to a wonderful and receptive audience!

The lunch was yummy and we had a lot of fun conversing with the old folks and the Sisters who were looking after them.

We were also entertained by the IJ girls from CLDDS who performed a few songs during the 2nd half of the lunch. =)

Here are some pictures of the IJ Alumni CNY lunch:

I will be posting more pictures of the event soon! =)

We would like to thank everyone for being so kind and wonderful to us! Thank you for the gifts and the many many oranges!

Happy Lunar New Year to one and all! ^ ^
