SBS Filming @ CJ! SNSD + CJ + SBS = Jjang!

Hello Everyone!

As many of you know, SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) recently came down to CJ to feature the Korean wave in Singapore.

We were really excited, happy and thrilled to be a part of this and everyone had lots of fun! Here's what went on:

I received a call about SBS wanting to feature CJ as part of "hallyu" in Sg. So we started calling our students from the SNSD classes to represent CJ for the filming (it was requested that we do their dances), the response was fantastic even at such last minute notice!

(I was really happy and thankful for their support! They were a really committed bunch! They came early for trainings and really worked hard to make the performance a good one! ^^)

Training started from Mondays all through to the day of filming (Wednesday). Everyone was nervous and excited, myself included!

Right down to the actual filming, everyone was busy practising their moves and declaring their love for SNSD (some students even wrote SNSD member's names on their faces. )

Yes, our boys are a bunch of over enthusiastic fans. But I guess, this is the kind of effect the girls have on their fans. =)

Having fun in between rehearsals! ^^

We DANCE together! Everybody loves everybody! ^^

Putting on make up before the actual filming starts! ^^

When the SBS filming crew came, the CJ Crew performed Nobody and the students performed Gee and Genie! Our Korean guests were thrilled! They were really impressed by some of our young students and performers!

Then it came to quick interviews and (I love how they gave the young ones opportunities to shine in front of the camera by asking them to show their talents after their performances). The interviews covered information about local fans and how they came to love K-Pop.

After that, it was followed by a quiz and students had to answer trivia questions and do dares to win... *drumroll please.........* -- SNSD AUTOGRAPHED POSTERS!!--

Some of the boys were not so lucky and had to content with taking pictures of the posters. aww.

This whole experience was pretty amazing! This year K-Pop seems to be coming closer and closer to our shores with many gasoos (singers) coming by! I can't wait for more of them to come so that our young can be further exposed to quality performances and dances!

It was truly a wonderful experience for everyone! The students, myself and we cannot thank SBS enough for allowing us to be a part of this awesome filming session!

감사합니다. (Gamsa ham ni da.) *bows*

Here's a video of snippets from our SBS filming! ^^ Enjoy!

Love,
Celine
